Biuret

Property: White crystal powder, Melting point: 190oC. Soluble in hot water, Relative density: 1. 467. Soluble in hot water. Hot alcohol and slightly soluble in aether. It is chelated with Cu2 + in alkaline solution to form an intense violet-red color. It exists only in the form of carbamate (its salt or ester) , carbamide (amide) and carbamoyl (acyl radical) Use: Medical intermediaries, Biuret is an important fine chemical product, the pharmaceutical raw material for preparation of sedative and sleeping pill and the raw material for manufacturing the varnish and coating: It can be used for sensitive material and for electrostatic reprography etc, especially when using it as the non-protein nitrogen source in feed additive of ruminant and in long-lasting nitrogen fertilizer in agriculture, its usage amount is tremendous.
